Why Choose Us

We work for you.

Some inspection companies have the contractor include the inspection fees in their quote; however, we at Inspec work with and invoice the owner/property manager directly. This way, there is guaranteed assurance to an unbiased inspection.

Why Choose Us

We provide as many inspections as it takes to get the job done and done right.

The inspector has several hold points, and the contractor cannot move forward without our stamp of approval. These include cleaning, preparation work (wood replacement, scraping, sanding, filing, and priming), first coat application, and second coat application. Generally, the inspector is onsite as often as two to three times a week or as needed.

We provide the expertise.

A third-party inspector that is an expert in his/her field can ensure that you are getting what you pay for. Our priority is to manage the process from start to finish. We are on your side every step of the way, from ensuring the preparation work is completed according to the written specifications, to confirming that the appropriate paint and application techniques are being employed. The inspector can also approve draw payments, providing assurance that you are only paying for the work that has been completed and nothing more. Lastly, the inspector will provide deficiency inspection reports and assist with the process of addressing any issues that may arise with the contractor. Every onsite inspection is followed by a detailed written report that is sent to both the property manager/owner and the contractor.

We help save you money and contribute to increasing the value of your property.

By conducting timely paint and coating assessments (through our IPASS program), you can be proactive in addressing any systemic issues that may cause irreversible damage to your building or property. The key is finding the root cause of damage and addressing them sooner rather than later. Be sure to include inspection costs in your budget when it comes time to take preventative measures on your regular building upkeep. There is more value in a well-maintained property, which could mean more income potential from selling, renting, or leasing spaces.
